How it's grown.
Insa flower is where it all begins. It’s the source of all our products. So, as you can imagine, we obsess over it. OBSESS! (Insert flash of lightning and maniacal laughter.)
Strains and Terpenes
Say it with us: Indi’couch. Indica-dominant strains of cannabis are known for calming, sedative, or mellowing effects, so they’re great for a night—you guessed it—on (or in) the couch.
Sativa-dominant strains are known for their stimulating effects, producing a “head high” that may feel energizing, uplifting, or inspiring.
There’s no clever mnemonic to remember the hybrid. Luckily, it is what it sounds like: a combination of indica and sativa bred to deliver a specific effect.
Despite its name, Limonene smells more like oranges than lemon, and is commonly added to food, perfumes and medicines both for flavor and for its functional properties. From a therapeutic standpoint, Limonene has been known to alleviate asthma and allergies, reduce inflammation and act as an antioxidant.
Linalool is known to have both anti-anxiety and sedating effects, depending on the level of concentration. Found naturally in lavender, people have been using the plant as a sleep-aid for centuries by placing a bundle underneath their pillow before bedtime.
Myrcene is reported to improve the time of onset and intensity of cannabis’ psychoactivity by allowing THC to cross the blood-brain barrier more easily. Skeptical? Eat a mango 45 minutes before you next inhale cannabis. The naturally occurring Myrcene found in mangoes has been reported to give your high a speed and intensity boost.
Humulene is known to provide therapeutic benefits like pain relief, anti-inflammatory effects and has been reported to act as an appetite suppressant. Have you ever felt full after drinking an IPA? Humulene is the main component in hops and is responsible for that ‘hoppy’ flavor in beer.
Caryophyllene is both a terpene and a cannabinoid? In 2008 a team of Italian and British researchers discovered that this terpene also interacts with the body’s endo-cannabinoid system. By interacting with CB2 receptors, it may assist with the body’s response to anxiety and stress, and because CB2 receptors play a role in pain, it may also act as an analgesic.
Pinene is the star attraction when it comes to Sativa-dominant strains. Due to its high-prevalence in nature, Pinene is one of the most studied terpenes out there. When paired with cannabis, Pinene has been shown to counteract some of the negatively associated side effects of THC like memory loss, and instead improves attention span to deliver a more lucid and focused experience.

We nurture the unique qualities of each plant.
When it comes to our vaporizers, it’s all about getting as close to pure THC and CBD as possible. We use a clean, alcohol-based extraction method that gives us the strongest product base (85-90 TAC). Once we extract the essence of the plant, we add natural terpenes to create flavor and effects. Insa vaporizers are some of the most potent products out there. Depending on your priorities, they’re the most bang for your buck too.
Insa concentrates are hands down one of the most delicious ways to enjoy the natural flavors of cannabis, period. Some of our concentrates are fresh and piney, while others taste like berries, ripe citrus, or mint. If we were uber-pretentious, we might compare our cannabis concentrates to fine wines as they both feature complex aroma bouquets and flavors. But we’re not. So we won’t.
