This product is indicated for use in the treatment of qualifying medical conditions as certified by your physician. Keep this medicine out of the reach of children and pets. If child puts contents on skin, eyes or in mouth, remove immediately and contact poison control. While taking this medication, do not drink alcohol, drive a car or operate heavy machinery. Unless advised by your physician, do not use this medication if you are pregnant or nursing.

Please review all labels and packaging for allergen warnings and product-specific dosage form and strength. Products may contain dairy, soy, gluten or coconut.

 

CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY

This product contains cannabis flower or cannabis distillate. Cannabis contains a variety of compounds, known as cannabinoids, that join to the cannabinoid receptors in the human body and produce various effects. The most common cannabinoids are THC and CBD. THC is the main psychoactive compound in cannabis. It produces the “high” sensation by activating certain receptors in the central nervous system. CBD does not produce a psychoactive effect and is believed to influence non-cannabinoid receptors giving it many therapeutic uses.

 

INDICATIONS AND USE

This product is indicated for use in the treatment of qualifying medical conditions as certified by your physician. Use only as directed by your physician.

 

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

You should follow your physician’s recommendation regarding dosage and use. First-time medical marijuana users should proceed with caution. Time of onset may vary therefore a gradual increase in dosage is recommended. In the case of unwanted side effects, please contact your physician. In the case of a suspected overdose, seek immediate medical help, call 911, or contact a Poison Control Center. 

Onset time will vary based on the product’s route of administration:

INHALATION: 

  • Onset: 1-15+ minutes
  • Duration: 1-2+ hours

EDIBLES:

  • Onset: 30-120+ minutes

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Please consult your physician regarding potential interactions between this product and other substances and medications you are taking. The use of this product may be contraindicated for, or cause adverse effects in patients:

  • Allergic to cannabis
  • With psychotic illness or a family history of a first-degree relative with schizophrenia
  • With heart disease or hypertension
  • Pregnant, breastfeeding or may become pregnant
  • With pulmonary diseases
  • Taking other psychoactive or sedative medications
  • With a history of drug abuse or dependence, including alcohol abuse

 

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS

  • This product has not been analyzed by the FDA.
  • The transfer of this product to a person other than the qualified patient or caregiver to whom it was lawfully dispensed is illegal.
  • The possession, use or administration of this product in certain locations or situations may be unlawful.
  • Use this product only as directed by your physician.
  • Tell your doctor if you are taking any other medications.
  • Keep this product away from children and pets.
  • This medication may impair your ability to drive or operate heavy machinery and can cause a feeling of intoxication as well as impaired coordination and/or judgment.
